To Prepare reports

Go to the reports tab on your software as shown below. Once on the main screen, refer to the table below to choose the right option for you.

There is quite a few things that you will need to understand in order  to run reports efficiently. First, you will need to decide the report that suits you the most. Below is a table showing you what each one of the options do.

Complete Employee Report

This option will allow you to preview the reports before sending the to the printer. This is useful, because you can see any errors before hand and verify if the re records are correct. It will also give you a heads up on who is missing punches, who needs time added like vacation, sick time, etc. After you have previewed the report, you can print it directly from that same page.
Select this option if you do not need to preview the reports because you probably have done so already or simply, you want to print it without modifying anything, or to take it to someone else for reviewing. This option requires to have a printer installed. You can also select a PDF writer printer emulator which can convert your report to a PDF document.
You can also export your reports into a text file for viewing with any text editor program. This is useful to export to third party payroll application or even your bank for direct deposit procedures.
This button will export your entire report into a Microsoft Excel™ workbook. The program will ask you whether you have Excel™ or not (for proper document formatting). Once you complete the export procedure, you can open save it to a flash drive and take it on the go.

Once you have decided the appropriate report to run, follow these guidelines:

1) Click on the reports tab and enter the date range for the attendance report.

2) Select the report that best suits your needs. There are 3 types of reports. Each report has its preview, print, and export options. ( text and excel )
